There are few moments in my life that I have felt such an outpouring of love and support as I have these last few days.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
As I stood to speak in my ward, I was quickly made aware of how blessed I truly am to have such great love and support from so many family members and friends. There is absolutely no way that I would be half the person I am today if it wasn't for the examples and great words of wisdom from them.
Two more days and then time to get to work.
Many emotions, but mostly that of gratitude. I am so very blessed to have so many good friends and family members that make leaving so bitter sweet.
Words will never be enough to express how grateful I am for the amazing people in my life.
But most of all, I'm grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me and is so very aware of me. I'm grateful that He sent His son so that we can live with Him again. I'm grateful that Jesus Christ suffered for our pains and afflictions. I'm grateful there is always someone to turn to who knows exactly what I'm going through. I'm grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever. I'm grateful there are no real endings. I'm grateful Joseph Smith had enough courage as a 14 year old boy to ask a question. I'm grateful we have the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. I'm grateful we have a living prophet on Earth today. I'm grateful for the temple and the eternal perspective and peace that it brings. I'm grateful for hard things and chances to learn and grow. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm grateful for the chance to share this gospel that has blessed my life more than I can ever express with the people of Hong Kong.
I couldn't be more excited to start this new chapter. It's not going to be easy, but that's just how life is. It's the experiences that stretch us that help us grow the most.
See you all in 18 months.
Time to go get it done.
