I was blessed with the most incredible district. Hands down. End of story. No argument about it. I love every single person in my district so much and I can't imagine this experience without any of them. I can't even begin to tell you how much every single person has taught me. We would be here all day. Not only are they all spiritual giants, but we have so much fun together all the time. They're the greatest. We continue to receive lessons on how particles of light are dispersed to create sunsets, or how resonance works or things like that from Elder Anderson every day. Elder Merrell is always tapping on something and continues to beep-box into the microphones in the computer lab, keeping us all chill and happy. Sister Crook continues to amaze us all with her incredible music abilities on a daily basis. Sister Killpack is always surprising us with some hilarious comment and always willing to share her stash of food. Sister Cochran continues to grace us with her "Cochranisms" and always has something funny to say. Sister Anderson has a movie quote for EVERYTHING and always has us laughing! Sister Nuttall might be the happiest person I know. I don't think I've ever seen her sad. And Sister Hadley keeps everything chill with her down to earth approach of everything. Man I love these people.

I got a letter from Ann (cousin serving in Dominican Republic) this week. She shared a really great analogy that I'd like to expound on a little bit.
I've wondered a little this week about why the Lord would call 18-19 year olds to do his work. PMG talks about how this is really important stuff. This is eternity that is on the line for God's children. This is the real deal. So why doesn't he get someone much more qualified to help him out?
God calling us to help him with His work is a lot like making cookies with a little kid. Anyone whose done this (or tried to make anything with a little kid) knows that it would be a lot easier to do yourself. The cookies would turn out a lot better, it would get done a lot faster, and the kitchen wouldn't be such a mess by the time you get done. Missionary work is much the same. God could do it all by himself if he wanted to, and it would probably turn out a lot better. But He is an all knowing Heavenly Father and He knows that this is an experience that we need. So he lets us crack the eggs and measure the flour. And egg shells usually end up in the dough and flour gets all over the floor, but He's patient enough to allow us to help Him and allow us to grow and learn what it takes to become more like Him. He is perfect and He makes it work.
I'm so grateful for an all knowing Father in Heaven and a patient older brother, who are willing to let me help. I'm grateful that they know enough to know that I need this experience, even if sometimes egg shells end up in the batter, and I spill flour all over the floor. There's no way I could even try to do this by myself. It's His work, and ultimately done by Him. I've already learned so much, it's crazy. A mission is one of those experiences that after you start, you can't imagine your life without it. Stay tuned next week for "The Lessons Sister Robinson Learned in the MTC". It's gonna be good.

I love what I'm doing. I'm so happy. Having so much fun. Working hard. Being humbled more every day. Learning SO much. Growing closer to the Savior each day. And that's what it's all about.
Two more weeks and then HONG KONG! I'm hoping then that my pictures are a little more exciting than just us standing in front of the temple..
