Absolutely

I swear the weeks keep getting faster and faster. It feels like we're doing weekly planning about every other day! But things keep on rolling along and life as a missionary is just the best. We got to go to the temple again today!!

This is Eva and she's basically the coolest member in the whole world.
She owns her own beauty store and she's got LDS magazines and pictures ALL OVER. Gam saileih!

It's miracle city up in here over in Tsuen Wan! We have a stellar new investigator named Iris. She literally is probably the most prepared individual I have ever met. She's got the most incredible desire to learn about Jesus Christ and I'm real stoked to see where this one goes! We met her on the MTR (the train system here.)

We've started planning during weekly planning a set block of time during the week that we will go finding and we pray about that time all week, telling the Lord where we will be and when we will be there. It just so happened this week that as we were getting ready to head out to our area that we had prayed about and both felt really strongly about the time and place of where we were to go, that we got a call from Iris asking if she could meet with us. To be completely honest there was a little part of me that was a little disappointed because I was so sure that we were supposed to go to this certain area at this specific time, but Iris wanted to meet with us right then and so of course we went to meet with her! I've since repented of those disappointed feelings and I've learned that when we really show the Lord that we desire to have his help and guidance and put forth the effort to make it happen that He always will give us something better than we could come up with ourselves. We went to meet with Iris and she's amazing! After our first meeting she told us that she really feels like this the things that we are telling her are true and really wants to keep learning and meeting with us. We've since met with her one more time and have her scheduled for Saturday.

 Also met with a referral from Sister Chan's God Mom, and she's super stoked to learn and is already giving us referrals!

We also had zone conference this last week and wow. Just wow.

It was awesome! So much learning and spirituality! I was literally exhausted after it was over. Physically and spiritually! It was great, and not just because Sister Hawks made cookies!

President Hawks gave a great training all around the thought...

BE WHERE THE LORD CAN FIND YOU.

He talked about how when we are obedient, with our thoughts as well as our actions, we are putting ourselves in a place where the Lord can find us. President Hawks shared about how every good thing that's happened to him has been because he has been where the Lord could find him. And I don't know about you, but I'd sure like to be in a place the Lord can find me when he comes calling. So just a thought to think about!

As the conference came to a close we were all in the chapel and President Hawks was giving some closing remarks about the trainings. We had a training focused on the first vision and as he was talking about it he singled me out. (I told Sister Chan we gotta stop sitting in the first two rows because something like this happens every time we're with him and he talks) So out of about 60 missionaries he turns to me and says:

"So Sister Robinson. Let me get this right.

There was a 14 year old boy, clear back in 1820. He wanted to know what church was true so he went into a bunch of trees and he said a prayer. Then.. let me know if I got this right... Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ actually appeared to Him and talked to him, and then they told him that out of all the churches in the whole world that none of them were true? Is that right? You actually believe that?"

And let's be real. This whole time my heart is just about pounding out of my chest. And only one word came to my mind, so I said it. "Absolutely."

Then he came back with: "Really? You truly and honesty believe that? It's not just a cool story? It actually happened?"

And again. One word was about all I could come up with. "Absolutely."

Well folks. It's true. It absolutely happened.  Joseph Smith is absolutely a prophet of God, called in these last days to restore His church in it's fullness on the Earth. He absolutely translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. The Book of Mormon is absolutely the word of God and is the most correct book of any book on Earth. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is absolutely true. Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are absolutely real and the love us absolutely.
