Livin' on a Prayer

Whooooooooaaa. We're half way there! Whooooooaa. Livin' on a prayer!

But literally... We pray a lot!

HUMP DAY. It's weird. But ya know. Life is just great!

We got to go to the temple today, so that was super special to get to really reflect and really decide what needs to happen in these next months. Loving life and I know I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be right now, doing exactly what the Lords wants me to do, learning the things He needs me to learn!

As for a few highlights of the week:

St. Patrick's Day! Ya no one here celebrates it. We didn't have any green food coloring to make green waffles or anything cool, so I opted to throw on all my green clothes after planning. (Ya. Don't worry. I didn't wear this out in public. Which I maybe should have! Lots of people would have probably talked to us!)

Well. The true spirit of celebrating all things green caught on quickly and turned into this!

It was a good time.

I was also awakened to the fact that almost everything I own is green.... So. Mh hm. Mouh baahnfaat.

I caught a good cold this week and in doing so completely lost my voice. Nothing. Zero. Nada. Ling. Which to be honest has it's advantages if you're training! So Sister Shee got to talk a lot this week! It was awesome! :)

We picked up a great new investigator this week named April! She's AMAZING. She's preparing to take this HUGE test that everyone has to take to get into college called the DSE. So she can't come to church till after that, but she's really just amazing! No other way to describe it! She's 17 and loves Disneyland and Snow White and we're just real stoked to keep teaching her!

This week was a real huge testimony builder of truly enduring to the end! My grandpa gave me some advice to never end a day early. When you get done go knock three more doors and that's usually where the success is! We don't knock doors here, but this week as we went out finding and talking to people, when it was time to go home we talked to just a few more people! Most of our new investigators we found this week were the very last person we talked to!

So ENDURE TO THE END! That's usually where the best blessings are!

Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen. (2 Nephi 31:20-21)

I love my Savior. I'm humbled daily at the amazing opportunity that I have to serve Him by serving His children. He sure loves them a lot.

It sure is not always easy, but His way is not only the best way, it's the only way.

Sorry to be short, but when it comes down to it, that's all that matters.

Jesus Christ is our Savior. True happiness and peace are found by truly striving to follow His example and keeping the commandments.

The church is true.

Love ya people!
