What Else Truly Matters?

Well basically I've got a giant buildup of pictures that haven't been sent your way for whatever reason, so here we go!

REUNION WITH THE TRAINER.
Had some time to catch up at Mission Leadership Council last week.
My love Chan Ji Muih is a whole lot. 

We hit up the first baptismal sight in HK a couple weeks ago with the Tai Po Sisters. What a glorious reunion it was with Sister Anderson and her companion Sister Bosler.

We also came across this temple/nunnery place that had some awesome Chinese looking things. HK is just the best.

It's dark so you can't really tell... but we ended a wonderful day with Shake Shake Fries. If you still haven't googled it, you should, and maybe even start a petition to bring them to America.

And Z Ji Muih!! HK's best soup maker and coolest investigator.

This is one of the many varieties of soup we get every time we visit Z JM.
It's super good!!

This was the super cool lady that helped us Skype home in her Philipino Supplies Shop.
She had some great Christian music playing and wins the prize for my favorite Filabanyahn in HK!

This is the alley we walked down to get to the place we skyped from for Mother's Day...

We then entered this door... Which lead into a kitchen of a Chinese restaurant that had cockroaches all over and was everything you'd expect a super sketchy kitchen of a sketchy Chinese restaurant to look like. I'll spare you the pain and save those pictures for another day.

After entering this door from the kitchen you make your way up these stairs…

Which lands you in this happy little shop where you can skype! :)

Annnnnnd. I turned 20. Two whole decades people. It's a miracle we've made it this far. We started the celebration with this lovely cake cooked in a microwave with instructions and everything provided by the most wonderful mother in the world!

Editor's Note:  I envisioned that she would make some cute little mug cupcakes for each of them!

The festivities continued with a lesson with Z JM. She gave me a cup with a bunch of fake fruit. She's adorable. 

And a member from Tsuen Wan remembered it was my birthday and brought me a cake to finish off the evening! Not sure if you remember Eva, but she's a champ! 

But the best part was the Totoro slippers that she got me as well. #forthewin

Well there you have it. Life here is great and everything is real good. It's easy to get caught up in things, but it's always good to take a step back, look at the big picture and realize how blessed you really are.
