Gayahn! This week was a little crazy, but still hou hoisam! :)
For a little background: transfers are this week and there are 15 Elders going home and only one coming in... Which means they're going to have to close 7 Elder companionships missionwide... And you guessed it, they're closing the Butterfly Elders...
That means we're going to take over all their investigators and be the only companionship in our ward.
It should be interesting.
We don't really know how to teach men......... So if anyone has any pointers, let me know! It's still the gospel, but guys just work differently, so it should be interesting to see how this all pans out. But just like everything, the Lord's hand is in it and we just have to do our part and it'll be great! We have a ton of new Elders coming in August and then more in October, so this shouldn't be permanent, but it's gonna be good!
We are excited though because we will get to do the ABL's for Win! He got baptized yesterday and he's the greatest!! He's super quite but he always comes to English class and we just love him!
I came across this scripture a few weeks ago, but it's been on my mind a lot this week. It's in Alma 58:37 and it's Heleman writing an epistle to Moroni about everything that went down with the Strippling Warriors.
"But, behold, it mattereth not- we trust God will deliver us, notwithstanding our weakness of our armies, yea, and deliver us our of the hands of our enemies."
Helaman is so ging.
This scripture has been a real good reminder for me this week! We had some real exciting things happen and we met some awesome new people and things are finally starting to turn around here in Butterfly. When our trust is in God we can have full confidence that no matter what gets thrown at you that it'll all work out. Just smile and remember that it matterth not because He's on your side. #winningteam
LOVE YOU ALL.
