This Is What It's All About.

Well. I won't beat around the bush. Hands down, highlight of the week was Z JI MUIH'S BAPTISM!!

Everyone always talks about all the things that go wrong leading up to the baptism, but everything went really smoothly! This is the first time I've seen an investigator get baptized and I guess I didn't fully know what to expect. I kept looking around thinking... "Isn't the font supposed to be broken, or overflowing or something like that?" But it was all smooth sailing and everything went great! Our Ward Mission Leader is a champ and our ward is so awesome. Not so sure how I expected anything less!

This is our Ward Mission Leader. He's the coolest person.
He's got two kids on missions and is ON FIRE. We love him.
It really was a sweet experience and she just seemed so happy. There really is just no other way to describe it. She had to take her hearing aids out for the actual baptism, so she wasn't able to hear the prayer, but the smile on her face said it all! The feelings of the Spirit have no barriers. The only thing I could think of the whole time was:

This is what it's all about.

One of the young men baptized her.
He was so nervous, but he did a great job!
I feel like I should have some more eloquent way to put it, or some big fancy analogy or cool spiritual thought. But this is what I've got. This is what It's all about. Real people. Real truth. Real love.

It was awesome.

We had Zone Training this week, which was super awesome! We were real busy preparing for that all week. The week of Zone Training every month we have Mission Leadership Council with President and Sister Hawks and all the other Zone Leaders, Sister Training Leaders and the Assistants. It was President Hawk's last MLC. He told us that the next MLC will be held with President Lam at the exact same time that him and Sister Hawks will be boarding their plane. It sure is bitter sweet. I have so much love and respect for President and Sister Hawks I can't even tell you! I've learned so much from them that I could probably write a book. Which makes me real excited for President and Sister Lam to come as well, because I'm sure I'll love them and learn just a much from them! Win win.

President Hawk's last words at MLC, which were the same as his last words at the last Zone conference were this:

"I love the Lord.

I love Sister Hawks.

I love the Book of Mormon.

I love to be obedient."

These four statements wrap up exactly what I've learned from President Hawks in this last year.

I love the Lord.

I love my family.

I love the Book of Mormon.

I love to be obedient.

That's what it's all about.

Have a stellar week and ga yauh!

Lovin ya all the way from HK,
SisMoRob
