Well I don't have much sam gei to write anything too amazing, but stay tuned because next week will be good!! We've just been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to teach all our lessons and do all the prep for our zone training coming up! The Zone is struggling a little right now, so we're just really trying to make it super good!
But basically life is just great! Just working hard and things are going awesome! Sam got confirmed and he's doing great!!! It really was super sweet. We had a great lesson with him Saturday night before he got confirmed about how awesome the Holy Ghost is and I think it really helped him understand how great it is! The blessing they gave him was incredible, they talked about him serving a mission and getting married in the temple and all the great callings he's going to have and all the people he will bring to the church. He got up and wiped his eyes and Sister Dudley and I were just goobs sitting there crying too. He's such a good kid! It was cool to just sit there and just feel that this is really what it's all about!
It's been a great week here! Sister Dudley and I just decided that our main goal for the transfer was to "be where the Lord could find us." We figured if we could do that - be exactly obedient and let the Spirit be the Senior Companion and get us where we need to be, saying what we need to say - then it would all work out and we could see some awesome things happen!
Well, you should try it, because it works!
We were led to so many different prepared people in so many different ways this week that there's just NO WAY we could have done it on our own!
One of my personal favorites this week was Monday night. We were waiting for a member to go visit a Less Active and we were by this huge chyun (apartment building complex) that we can't go proselyting in or else we get kicked out. We had about 15 minutes though and we felt like we should go walk around for a little bit, even though we couldn't openly proselyte and see what happened.
Bingo. We ran into this lady named Helen whose been coming to English class for forever. We've taught her but she really has no interest as of right now. She's a little crazy, but she loves missionaries and invited us up to her house. We told her we'd come over after visiting the LA for a minute.
So we went up. We knew she had a son, and we've tried to get her to bring him to English class, but she says he wouldn't come. Well long story short, Paul was home, we got to teach him, he's AWESOME, has a ton of interest and we'll be seeing him again next week!
Good things happen when you just do you best and try to be where the Lord can find you. He's so good and His work is so amazing, we figure if we just keep working our hardest and try to stay out of the way as much as possible that He will keep making good things happen!
The church is true! Love leih deih la!
