"The Will of God"

As it comes to email time every week I'm always so conflicted about what to say, because everything happens in a week and at the same time, we're just working hard and I'm not quite sure what to tell you! But everything is great and things keep rolling along. This marvelous works stops for no one!

Highlight of the week:

We caught not one, but TWO lizards. So that was awesome! We had to grab some stuff at the church one night and as we were in the elevator on our way down I saw this 2 inch baby lizard running along the side of the elevator. Luckily we had cooked dinner at the church and I just happened to have an empty plastic container in my hand... The Elders were waiting for an investigator on the bottom floor and hear Sister Cox screaming and were super confused. So that just made it that much better.

After taking a few pictures we headed outside to let it go and found another HUGE one! So I caught that one too, but it was dark so we couldn't get a big picture.

Being a missionary is the best. :)
We went finding with our three all-star YSAs.

We had Zone Training this week. It was awesome! I've spent some time this last week just reflecting the last 6 months of my mission and where I want to go this next year. We were asked to watch the video "The Will of God" in preparation.

(Editor's Note:  I tried to copy this video to Sister Robinson's Blog….I don't think I did it right.  You might need to use the link below, if you want to watch it.)

I can't tell you how much I love this video.

I feel like it's been a constant theme of my time as a missionary for the Lord to remind me that this is not MY mission. This is HIS mission. And things need to be done HIS way.

One thing I've learned over and over again is that He is the gardener here. He knows what He wants us to be.

I've also realized that He can make so much more of us that we ever think we can become. It sure isn't fun, and sometimes it's pretty uncomfortable, but through His love inspired correction we can become so much better!

Before coming to Hong Kong I was a pretty good person and I was doing pretty good things.

In these last 6 months I've learned that Hong Kong doesn't need Sister Robinson at all. Sister Robinson has a work to do in Hong Kong that can help a lot of people and be beneficial, but if I didn't do it, the Lord would find someone else to do it.

No, Hong Kong doesn't need Sister Robinson. But Sister Robinson really needs Hong Kong.

No one was ever defined by things that were easy. No one ever grew from an experience that didn't require them to stretch and change.

We can all reach God's high expectations.

And the good news is that He's there with us every step of the way and He loves us even when we make mistakes!

That's something to be excited about.

Love you all! Sorry to be short and random, but have a fantastic week and keep doin work!

Love,
SisMoRob
